Every legal document CSBattle publishes opened on the first request, which almost nothing in this category does. Then two of them turned out to disagree about who is allowed to play, and a third says the currency you pay for can never be cashed out.

Every document CSBattle publishes opened on the first request

Most operators on this queue answer a legal page with a 403. CSBattle did not. On 10 September 2026 we requested its Terms of Use, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, AML and KYC Policy, Sweepstakes Rules and Restricted Countries page. All seven returned HTTP 200 and readable text.

The footer names its operator: "CSBattle is owned and operated by Nameless Ltd, registration number: 3-102-906507, registered address: Av. Pastor Diaz, Provincia de Puntarenas, Jaco, 61101, Costa Rica." It names a payment agent too, Lannister Tech Ltd in Nicosia, Cyprus, registration HE 464825.

That is more disclosure than most sites in this category offer, and it is why this review can quote clauses instead of listing pages that would not open.

Its own two rulebooks name different restricted states

The two captures at the top of this page are the finding. Section 10.5 of the Terms of Service, updated 22 July 2026, bars four US states from its sweepstakes: Idaho, Michigan, Nevada and Washington.

Section 4.2 of the Official Sweepstakes Rules bars thirteen: those four plus California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Montana, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee. Both documents were live and served to us the same day.

A player in California who reads only the Terms of Service would conclude they are eligible. The Sweepstakes Rules say they are not. Neither document says which one governs, and we are not guessing. The United States is not on the country block list, so these state lists are the only restriction an American player will meet.

The currency you pay for can never be cashed out

CSBattle runs a two-currency sweepstakes model. Section 10.1 says CSBattle Credits, the currency you buy, "have no monetary value" and "may not be redeemed, exchanged, refunded, withdrawn, or converted into cash, cryptocurrency, or any item of monetary value." Section 33 repeats it: "CSBattle Credits themselves remain non-redeemable at all times."

Only Sweeps Cash winnings redeem, and Sweeps Cash cannot be bought. It arrives as a bonus on a Credits purchase, through promotions, or by mailing a handwritten postcard, which the Sweepstakes Rules say "may take up to 14 business days to process."

Redemption needs completed KYC, one play-through, and an account in good standing. Section 10.4 lets CSBattle "deny, delay, suspend, investigate, or cancel any redemption request" in its "sole but reasonable discretion." None of this is hidden. It is simply not what most people mean when they ask whether a skin site pays out.

No gambling licence, and a certification we could not check

We searched all seven documents, the homepage and the fairness page for a licence, a regulator or a licence number. There is none. The only licences in the Terms of Service are the personal licence to use the site and a reference to intellectual property "licensed by CSBattle."

The Terms of Service does claim that "all games on CSBattle are certified by iTechLabs." We went to check. iTechLabs' certificate directory at itechlabs.com/certificates returned an HTTP 403 to two requests. The certification is claimed by CSBattle and unconfirmed by us, and a certification nobody can look up is worth less than one they can.

We also tried the Cyprus company register for Lannister Tech Ltd. Its public search form is postback-driven and our automated request returned no rows. That is inconclusive, not an absence, and we are recording it as such.

One more thing the Restricted Countries page shows, updated 8 September 2026: Costa Rica and Cyprus are both on CSBattle's own block list. Those are the two countries named in its own footer.

    None
gambling licence, regulator or licence number in seven documents
    HTTP 403
from iTechLabs' certificate directory, on two requests
    No rows
from the Cyprus register search, which is inconclusive rather than absent

    The fairness verifier is real

Plenty of sites say provably fair and offer nothing behind it. CSBattle's /fairness page loaded for us with a working verifier for ten modes: Battles, Double, Coinflip, Upgrader, 21, Mines, Tower, Plinko, Keno and Cases. Its own words: "Re-derive the outcome of any game from its published fairness details. Everything runs in your browser."

One condition applies: "For single-player games, they're revealed once you've rotated your seed." We did not create an account, so we report that the tool exists and documents its method, not that we reproduced a result. No document publishes a house edge or an RTP figure for any mode.

What outside reviewers say, and why we are not repeating most of it

Trustpilot's page for csbattle.com gives a TrustScore of 3.3 across 81 reviews. The average is the least useful number on it: 62 percent five-star and 33 percent one-star, with 5 percent in between. Two populations having opposite experiences, not a middling site. The one-star reviews cluster on withdrawals and account suspensions, which we report as the shape of the complaints and not as fact.

Third-party reviews print a house edge, a payout speed and a launch year for this operator. None appears in any CSBattle document, and we have never run a deposit or withdrawal here, so none of them is on this page. SkinsVault has not tested CSBattle and publishes no rating for it.

What we could confirm, and what we could not

Confirmed from CSBattle's own live pages on 10 September 2026: all seven legal documents load; Nameless Ltd, Costa Rica, is the operator and Lannister Tech Ltd, Cyprus, the payment agent; the Terms of Service restricts four US states and the Sweepstakes Rules thirteen; CSBattle Credits are non-redeemable; no gambling licence is named anywhere; a working fairness verifier exists.

Not confirmed: the iTechLabs certification, because the certifier's directory returned 403; the Cyprus register entry, because the search form defeated an automated request; which restricted-state list governs, because neither document says; and whether withdrawals arrive, because we have not tested this site and will not imply otherwise.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is CSBattle legit?
CSBattle is a real, live operator that names its company, publishes seven legal documents that all open, and ships a working fairness verifier. It also holds no gambling licence it names anywhere, and two of its own documents give different lists of restricted US states. We have not tested a deposit or a withdrawal on it and publish no rating for it.
    Is CSBattle licensed?
Not that we could find. We searched its Terms of Use, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, AML and KYC Policy, Sweepstakes Rules, Restricted Countries page, homepage and fairness page on 10 September 2026, and no gambling licence, regulator or licence number appears in any of them. The footer names Nameless Ltd with a Costa Rica company registration, which is a company number and not a gambling authorisation.
Can you withdraw real money from CSBattle?
Not from the currency you buy. Terms of Service section 10.1 states CSBattle Credits may not be redeemed, exchanged, refunded, withdrawn or converted into cash, and section 33 repeats that they remain non-redeemable at all times. Only winnings derived from Sweeps Cash redeem, after a play-through requirement and completed KYC, and CSBattle reserves the right to deny or cancel any redemption request at its own discretion.
Is CSBattle available in the United States?
The United States is not on CSBattle's country block list, but individual states are restricted and its own two documents disagree about which. The Terms of Service names Idaho, Michigan, Nevada and Washington. The Official Sweepstakes Rules names those four plus California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Montana, New Jersey, New York and Tennessee. Neither document says which list governs.
    Is CSBattle provably fair?
It publishes a working verifier at csbattle.com/fairness covering ten game modes, which re-derives outcomes in your browser from published seeds. Server seeds for single-player games are only revealed once you rotate your seed. Its terms also claim an iTechLabs RNG certification, which we could not confirm because iTechLabs' own certificate directory returned an HTTP 403 to our request.
