    Side-by-side comparison

All three live in the CS2 economy and they do different things. Everything in the Skinsvault.net column was checked on 2 September 2026; where we have not verified something, the cell says so rather than guessing.

There is now a third site

Skinvault.gg is at least a different word. Skinsvault.net is our name exactly, on a different ending, and it is not us.

Here is what we checked on 2 September 2026, and nothing beyond it. The domain resolves and serves a live site. It uses the SkinsVault name and advertises buying, selling and trading CS2 skins. Its own page names AURAVAULT LTD at 5 Merchant Square, London. Public WHOIS records give a registration date of 4 June 2025, about six weeks before skinsvault.gg was registered on 20 July 2025.

We have no relationship with whoever runs it and no view on how they operate, because we have not tested it. What we can tell you is what separates it from us: this site cannot take anything from you. There is no sign-in on skinsvault.gg, no Steam connection, no trade URL field and no wallet. If a page carrying this name asks you to deposit skins or money, you are not on skinsvault.gg, whatever the header says.

Check the ending in the address bar. Ours is .gg, and it is the only domain we operate.

Why the names are so similar

CS2 culture is built on two of the most generic nouns in gaming: skin and vault. Skins are the cosmetic items players collect; vault is the universal metaphor for "where my valuable stuff lives." Most CS2 brands end up using one or both, and a lot of them collide on the .gg TLD that the community treats as default.

SkinsVault.gg is a review and ranking platform. We score every ranked CS2 case-opening, casino, and gambling site against our published method: bonus terms, house edge where stated, provably-fair replay, payment rails and licence. We do not publish withdrawal times, because we have not run withdrawals ourselves. We don't sell, hold, or trade skins, we just write about the sites that do.

Skinvault.gg (no extra S) is a third-party CS2 skin trading bot. Players use it to buy, sell, or instantly trade skins through an automated marketplace. It's a different team, a different product, and a different business model. We have no commercial relationship with them.

If you searched "skinvault" and ended up here when you meant the trading site, the link card at the top will take you there. If you wanted a place that actually rates the gambling and case-opening sites you're considering, you're already on it.

    Frequently asked

Is SkinsVault the same as Skinvault?

No. SkinsVault (skinsvault.gg, with an S after Skin) is an independent CS2 skin-site review and ranking platform. Skinvault (skinvault.gg, no extra S) is a separate CS2 skin trading bot and marketplace operated by a different company. The two sites are not affiliated.

    Which one do I want?

If you want to buy, sell, or instantly trade CS2 skins through a bot, go to skinvault.gg. If you want independent reviews, rankings, and bonus codes for CS2 case-opening and gambling sites, you're in the right place, that's what SkinsVault.gg does.

Did SkinsVault copy the Skinvault name?

No. The two sites started independently and target different parts of the CS2 economy, trading vs. reviews. The names overlap because both reference 'skin' and 'vault', two of the most common nouns in CS2 culture. We have no commercial relationship with skinvault.gg.

Can I use SkinsVault to trade CS2 skins?

Not directly. SkinsVault is a review and comparison site, not a trading platform, we don't hold inventory or facilitate trades. We do publish guides comparing trading platforms (including skinvault.gg) on our blog if you want help choosing one.

Where can I read about Skinvault.gg the trading site?

Skinvault.gg's official site is at skinvault.gg. They also have a Trustpilot profile and run an esports team called Skinvault Gaming (SVG). For independent reviews of skin trading platforms, see our trading guides on the SkinsVault blog.

    Is SkinsVault safe to use?

Yes, SkinsVault.gg is safe to use as a review and information site, we don't handle deposits, withdrawals, or your Steam account. We publish independent reviews and affiliate links to CS2 gambling platforms. Licensing differs by platform: some sites we link to hold a gambling licence and many do not, and each review states what the operator publishes. We do not charge users, collect payment data, or require account creation.

What is skinsvault.net? Is it you?

No. skinsvault.net is a separate website operated by a different company. Checked on 2 September 2026 it was live, used the SkinsVault name, and advertised CS2 skin buying, selling and trading. Its own page names AURAVAULT LTD at 5 Merchant Square, London, and public WHOIS records show the domain was registered on 4 June 2025. We have no relationship with it, no ownership stake in it, and no say in what it does. Our only domain is skinsvault.gg.

I deposited skins on a site called SkinsVault. Was that you?

It was not, because this site cannot take a deposit. SkinsVault.gg is a review site: there is no sign-in, no Steam connection, no trade URL field and no wallet anywhere on it. If you handed skins or money to something calling itself SkinsVault, it was skinsvault.net or another site, and you will need to contact whoever runs that one. We cannot recover items or funds and we would be misleading you if we implied otherwise.

    Is SkinsVault.gg the official website?

SkinsVault.gg (with an S) is the official domain for this site, the independent CS2 gambling review and ranking platform. If you are looking for Skinvault.gg (without the extra S), that is the official domain for the separate CS2 skin trading bot. Always double-check the URL to make sure you're on the site you intended.

    Is SkinsVault legitimate?

SkinsVault is a legitimate, independently operated review platform. We publish our scoring criteria, disclose affiliate relationships on every page, and do not accept payment to alter platform rankings. Our bonus codes are independently verified before publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by any of the gambling platforms we review.
