Is SkinBattle Legit? The Site Was Unreachable
SkinBattle's own domain returned an expired-registration page on every attempt we made, and its terms of service could not be reached at all. Here is what could be verified, and what could not.
OpenStars is Bounty Stars under a new domain and a new Cyprus company registered on 10 June 2026. Every legal page opened, none names a licence, and the RNG certificate on its server was issued to a different company for games it no longer runs.

Left is what OpenStars's own pages, the Cyprus register or the Internet Archive confirmed on 15 September 2026. Right is what no page we could open answers.
OpenStars runs at openstars.gg, a Nuxt app whose legal text loads in the browser, not in the raw HTML. Rendered on 15 September 2026, seven pages opened: Terms, Privacy, AML, About, Contact, Provably Fair and Reviews.
The terms open with the operator: "The services are operated by U GAYA LTD, registration number HE 493972, with registered address at Ischyron, 24, Kato Polemidia, 4151, Limassol, Cyprus." The privacy policy and the contact page repeat the same name and address.
The Cyprus Department of Registrar of Companies lists U GAYA LTD as a private limited company, status Active, "Registration Date 10/06/2026". One person is listed as both director and secretary, and the HE32 annual-return tab reads "No ΗΕ32 found".
The site says so itself. Its Reviews page carries the words "New name, but old history" beside a Bounty Stars logo, and describes "a track record built on transparency since our days as Bounty Stars."
On 15 September 2026, bountystars.com answered our requests with a 301 redirect to openstars.gg. The site's own configuration still carries "base_url":"https://bountystars.com.local", and its logo is served from a path ending in bounty/logo.svg.
The Wayback Machine's 11 May 2026 copy of bountystars.com named a different operator: "The services are operated by Reponex LTD, registration number HE 467915, with registered address at Gianni Kranidioti & Pargas, 1st floor, office 102, 1065, Nicosia, Cyprus." The register lists Reponex LTD as Active, registered on 21 November 2024, with a different director and a corporate secretary.
The .gg registry dates openstars.gg to 13 May 2026, registrant Stekalex s.r.o., a third name. U GAYA LTD was formed four weeks later. The Internet Archive's index shows no capture of the new domain before 10 September 2026.
The story runs back further. The archive's 20 March 2024 copy of bountystars.com is titled "Play to Earn CS2 & Rust Skins on Rustix" and lists "Crash, Coinflip, Tower, Classic, Upgrader, and more." Three brand names, three company names, one codebase.
Every date is taken from the register, registry or archive it describes. The amber rows are the rename; the site kept its reviews and lost its operating company.
We searched the terms, the privacy policy, the AML policy, the About page and the Contact page for a gambling licence, a licence number or a regulator. None appears in any of them.
What does appear is a claim. The homepage FAQ asks "Is Openstars legit and legally operated? Where is it based?" and answers: "Openstars is a platform registered in Cyprus, and its activities are completely legal." A company registration is not a gambling authorisation, and the FAQ names none.
The terms mention an authority once, without naming it: dormant balances the company cannot return "shall be remitted to the relevant gaming authority or to the Company." The AML policy says only that "All of our payment instruments that we cooperate with are licensed to conduct such business."
Restricted countries are handled the same way. Section 1 forbids accounts from "residents (or citizens) of specific jurisdiction" and says the list "may be changed by the Company from time to time with or without notice." No list is printed anywhere. From Chicago, the site loaded with sign-in offered and "is_country_banned":false in its page data.
Licence search, 15 September 2026
Five legal and informational pages, over 8,000 words of terms, privacy and AML text, and one FAQ: no licence number, no regulator, no authority named. The FAQ's answer to the legality question is that the company is registered in Cyprus.
The site's configuration points to /docs/RNG_Certificate.pdf. The file is a one-page iTech Labs certificate dated 1 November 2021, and an identical copy sits on itechlabs.com.
It certifies the wrong thing for this site. "Software provider: Cosmogames N.V.", at cosmogames.co, and "iTech Labs has also conducted scaling tests for Roulette, Coinflip and Tower games." Cosmogames N.V. describes itself as registration number 155512 in Curaçao. OpenStars today lists Cases, Casebattle, Contracts and Upgrader, and none of the three certified games.
The certificate is linked from no page we opened: not the terms, not the fairness page, not About. It exists in the site's settings and nowhere a reader would find it.
The fairness page itself is more than a phrase. It carries a server-seed reveal, a verifier and a seed-pair history with hashed server seed, client seed and nonce. Case pages print a chance per item: the First Contact case lists 26 items from 0.051% to 11.332%, and the figures sum to 100.

Yes means the source states it, no means it addresses the topic and does not, unknown means the source is silent. The certificate row and the live row share no column.
The About page, under "Our Services", states: "Rustix offers a variety of games, including Cases, Casebattle, and more." Rustix is the name the same domain carried in March 2024.
The homepage FAQ includes the question "How do I Add Balance to Hellcase?", answered "Simply log in, click 'Refill', choose your payment method, and complete the transaction." Hellcase is a competitor. The FAQ is served in the page's structured data, so search engines read that line too.
The Reviews page shows "Current Profile OpenStars on Trustpilot 4.2 6+ reviews". Trustpilot itself showed 3.5 from 31 reviews on 15 September 2026. The newest review it displays is dated 27 July 2026.

Section 2 gives the company the right to demand documents at any time: "You may have up to 30 (thirty) calendar days to forward the documents requested." Failure to provide them lets the company close the account.
Section 4 removes the right of withdrawal once a balance is topped up: "after you refill the balance you thereby loss your right of withdrawal from the Service, however such right of withdrawal and corresponding refunds may be kept if envisaged by the applicable legislation."
Section 7 sets an inactivity clock: "If your account remains inactive for a continuous period of 6 (six) months or more, we may close or suspend your account and reset your account balance to zero." A warning email is promised first. No payout time is published on any page.
Trustpilot's OpenStars profile, claimed in June 2026, holds 31 reviews at 3.5: 17 five-star, 9 one-star. The legacy Bounty Stars profile holds 130 at 3.9, with 31 one-star. Trustpilot's own summary of that profile begins: "Customers consistently note negative experiences with payment, describing issues where withdrawing high-value..." The most recent one-star reviews on the new profile describe accounts banned after a win, one citing multi-account linking, and the company has replied to several. We have not deposited on this site and cannot test any of it.
Bar is the share of each profile's reviews at that star level, from the rating breakdown on each Trustpilot page. The new profile is three months old and its one-star share is already higher than the legacy one.
Confirmed from OpenStars's own live pages, the Cyprus register and the Internet Archive on 15 September 2026: all seven pages opened; the terms name a real company, formed on 10 June 2026; bountystars.com redirects here and named Reponex LTD until at least May 2026; no licence or regulator appears anywhere; the RNG certificate belongs to Cosmogames N.V. and covers Roulette, Coinflip and Tower; per-item odds are printed and sum to 100.
Not confirmed: who owns U GAYA LTD or Reponex LTD, or whether they share owners; what Stekalex s.r.o. is to either; which entity takes deposits; whether a withdrawal arrives, and how fast; which countries are actually blocked; anything about the site's history between March 2024 and May 2026 beyond the archived homepages.
Left is what OpenStars's own pages, the Cyprus register or the Internet Archive confirmed on 15 September 2026. Right is what no page we could open answers.
Every legal, tax and regulator claim on this page traces to one of these 30 references.
SkinBattle's own domain returned an expired-registration page on every attempt we made, and its terms of service could not be reached at all. Here is what could be verified, and what could not.
SkinFans' terms name a real London limited partnership and call the site a gambling service. No licence appears in 16,000 words, the UK Gambling Commission's register returns nothing, and its FAQ and terms disagree on how long a withdrawal takes.
SkinsLuck's own terms of service would not load for us on three separate attempts. Here is what its licensing claim, ownership and withdrawal complaints actually show, and what we could not confirm.
